Cheek implants bring prominence and balance to the cheekbones. This however, by itself will not alter the facial contours entirely. Nonethless, changing the cheek structure can dramatically alter the facial profile.
There are several options with how cheeks can be implanted. Implants that can bring balance and symmetry to the face include Fat Transfer, Face Lift or Wrinkle Fillers.
If you are above 18 and healthy, psychologically stable and have realistic expectations, this maybe the right treatment for you.

Post cheek implant surgery some may experience some fluid drainage from the skin incisions. Sometimes a drainage tube may be inserted for a couple of days under the skin in order to prevent fluid build up and a collection forming.
Swelling is a common side effect that can be alleviated with a elastic garment to wear over the treated area for a couple of weeks.
Don’t expect to look or feels great after the surgery. Pain, burning sensation, bleeding and temporary numbness and/or stiffness are common side effects. These may last from anywhere to 2 – 4 weeks.
Other side effects include shifting of implants, infection and excess scar tissue formation around the implants resulting in an unnatural shape. This may require a further surgery to remove the implants.
Strenuous activities must be avoided for the first 4 – 6 weeks including any form of trauma to the surgical site.
